When you arrive at your appointment, your provider will talk you through the process. You may be asked to lie down on your back, though some providers will perform this procedure with you sitting up. They may apply a topical anesthetic, like lidocaine. Next, we’ll use a thin, sterilised needle to inject Botox into the skin around the sides of your nose. This procedure will typically require multiple injections, but it shouldn’t take long.
Aftercare
Side effects from botulinum toxin injections vary depending on the area receiving treatment. Most issues are mild and improve in a day or two. Possible Botox side effects include pain, swelling, redness or bruising at the treatment site.
